In 1999-2000 Zeigler extended further the collaborative dynamic begun earlier in the nineties, when she began work on Tribute to the Ecosphere --a large-scale, millennium, ceramic-tile mural public-art project that she had initiated and worked on over a two-year period. This project received a Mayor's Environmental Achievement Award (2000). It focused on the biodiversity of Richmond, British Columbia and the importance of people of all cultural backgrounds working together to preserve existing species and ecological systems.
